My name is Tamás Ábrányi, and I am CEO of the company. Please let me introduce to you briefly our company?s philosophy, our goals and our notions of business. In Hungary, selling through vending machines, in other words, vending, is a very young industry, it has a history of hardly over 10 years. Spengler Ltd. is one of those pioneering enterprises, which about 15 years ago felt that the tempo of life dictated by our sped-up world cannot be imagined without vending, i.e. a selling technique using vending machines. Spengler Ltd. places an especially great emphasis on an ongoing improvement of the servicing standard, which endeavor covers each element of the service, from a modern, aesthetically immaculate machine park through quality raw materials and recipes to the service personnel. To comply with our partners? requirements, as well as to achieve the quality goal set before us, and last but not least, to ensure a permanent quality, in 2001 a certified quality assurance system, based on ISO9001:2000, was introduced, covering not only operation but also equipment manufacturing with the strictest requirements. Our quality assurance system has been certified on the basis of the latest food safety standards (HACCP). We think that operating vending machines, besides basically being a task of food industry, also represents a significant technological challenge. For besides coffee machines, already well known today, an increasingly larger segment belongs to installations dispensing other products, such as chocolates, snacks, sandwiches, soft drinks, etc., and a more frequent demand arises for equipping these machines with a cashless payment system, or, in a more everyday language, a ?card? system, in which the card should be suitable at the same time for access control, the recording of working hours, as well as paying in the cafeteria or buffet.
