DELTA ÍJÁSZEGYESÜLET

Az egyesület fő profilja a versenyíjászat, de vállalunk íjászbemutatókat, és részt veszünk történelmi játékokon is.

A DELTA ÍJÁSZEGYESÜLET 1995-ben alakult Pápán. Tagjai kezdetben egyszerű íjakkal, kedvtelésből űzték ezt a szép sportot. Az évek multával a felszerelés és a tapasztalat gyarapodásával mind több versenyen vettünk részt. 1998-tól az egyesület tagja a MAGYAR ÍJÁSZ SZÖVETSÉGNEK (MISZ), így a nemzetközi FITA szervezetnek is. A tagok rendszeresen edzéseken vesznek részt, melyek jó időben a Lovasiskola melletti íjászpályán, rossz időben a Korvin u. 18. sz. alatti edzőteremben zajlanak. Gyerekek oktatásával is foglalkozunk 12 éves kortól. Az egyesület hagyományosan két versenyt szervez évente: januárban a pápai sportcsarnokban teremversenyt, nyár végén vagy ősszel Döbröntén terepversenyt. The DELTA ARCHER CLUB has been founded in Pápa in 1995. In the beginning the members pursued this beautiful sport with simple bows just for pleasure. Years after how the equipments and the experiences grew they took part in more compatitions. Since 1998 the club has been a member of the Hungarian Archer Association /MISZ/ and so of the international FITA, too. Systematic trainings are conducted on the archer-field next to the riding-school in case of fine weather and in the training room at number 18, Korvin u. (str.) in the event of worse weather. The main profil of the society is the participation in archery contests but they also undertake to present archery shows and take part in historic games. We educate children from the age of 12. The club organizes traditionally two competitions: in january an indoor contest in the sports hall of Pápa and a field-contest in Döbrönte are held.
