GÉCZY DOROTTYA TERMÉSZETFOTÓS

Budapesten születtem, 1957-ben. Sokáig biológusnak készültem, a természet szeretete mindig is része volt életemnek. Kertészmérnöki, majd közgazdász diplomával Budapesten élek és dolgozom. Gyerekkoromtól fogva fotózom, de a digitális technika megjelenésével vált szenvedélyemmé a természetfotózás. 2004 óta minden szabadidőmet a fotózással töltöm. Igazi kikapcsolódás számomra városi életmódom mellett.

Kedvenc területem a makró, lepkék, szitakötők és más apró állatok fotózása, de szívesen töltök hosszú órákat lessátorban is egy-egy jó madár vagy nagyvad fotó reményében. Fotóimat az interneten dor2004 nicknéven publikálom.

I was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1957. I wanted to be a biologist for a long time, the love of nature has always been a part of my life. I degreed as horticultural engineer and economist, I live and work in Budapest. I have been taking photos since my childhood, but the appearance of digital technology made photographing nature my passion. Since 2004 I have spent most of my freetime with picturing. It is a real distraction and recreation beside my urban lifestyle. I would like to say thank you to my photography teachers, Tamas Imre and his wife Aniko, who gave me the possibility of getting to wonderful places with their workshops, while they let me into the secret of birds'' photos; and also to Csaba Forrasy, who has taught me the basics of macro picturing, which has become one of my favourites; and last but not least to Dr. Janos Vizur, who I have learnt the composition rules, the blur backgrounds and the usage of narrow DOF from.
