A FEAD az az európai szövetség, amely a hulladékipart képviseli. A FEAD tagjai országos hulladékgazdálkodási és környezetvédelmi szövetségek, amelyek az európai háztartási hulladékpiac kb. 60%-át, az ipari és kereskedelmi hulladékpiac több, mint 90 %-át lefedik, és összesen mintegy 50 milliárd euró éves árbevételt termelnek. A FEAD-nak jelenleg 17 tagja van 16 EU tagállamból és Norvégiából. A FEAD 2005-ben Budapesten tartotta éves konferenciáját. member of FEAD (Bruxelles) The Association of Environmental Enterprises is a professional business federation of the environmental industry. The aim of the Association is to expand the information flow toward the environmental companies. This is the engine of our continuously developing services. The members are environmental servicing companies, consulting firms, engineering offices, producing and purchasing companies of environmental products. Associated members can be research institutes and educational institutes, supporting members are producing companies. Now the Association has 280 members. The Association was founded in 1992 with a purpose of expressing the opinion of the environmental companies about the drafted legislation toward the legislators. Our mission The aim of the Association is to develop and to broaden the culture of the environmental protection. The Association is a member of the FEAD (Fédération Européenne des Activités du Déchet et de l?Environnement, Bruxelles). The FEAD?s role is to gather expertise and information from its members and represent their interest toward the EU institutions. The affiliated membership is very important in two aspects: we are informed about the drafted environmental legislation in the EU and represent our interest working in the FEAD Working Groups
