MAGYARORSZÁGI NEMZETI ÉS ETNIKAI KISEBBSÉGEKÉRT KÖZALAPÍTVÁNY

Bolgár, cigány , görög , horvát, lengyel , német , örmény, román, ruszin, szerb, szlovák, szlovén, ukrán Magyarországon élő kisebbségek jogai érvényesítése

A hazai kisebbségek önazonosságának megőrzését, hagyományai gondozását, átörökítését, az anyanyelv ápolását, fejlesztését, szellemi és tárgyi emlékeik fennmaradását, a kisebbségi létből fakadó kulturális és politikai hátrányok mérséklését szolgáló tevékenységek támogatása céljából jott letre az alapitvány. A közalapítvány támogatási tevékenysége a kisebbségi célú állami finanszírozás rendszerének része.

Public Foundation for Hungarian National and Ethnic Minorities. The founder, the Government of the Hungarian Republic, established the organisation with the aim of enhancing, encouraging and supporting the survival of Hungarian national and ethnic communities as well as preserving the self-identity of minority groups, and the fostering of their tranditions and language, the survival of their material and spiritual culture. In the interest of accomplishing these objectives we provide support for minority local governments, social organisations, communities and individuals via thematic object-oriented competitions as well as study scholarship competitions. Our all year round object-oriented competition is published every year around January. Submissions for our scholarship competition are welcomed from all students in secondary or tertiary educational institutions belonging to either a national or an ethnic minority. The announcement for this competition is published in May every year.
