MATCH-POINT TENNIS CLUB

A Match-Point Tennis Club 1996 óta működik a II. kerületi Marczibányi téren. A salakos (télen sátorral fedett) teniszpályák mellett, a klubházban lehetőség van az öltözőkben zuhanyozni, a büfében felfrissülni, illetve a házban, vagy a szabadtéren található pihenőhelyeken kényelmesen elnyújtózni.

A Match-Point Tennis Club 1996-ban alakult. Kezdetben férfi - és ifjúsági csapatunk gerincét a volt BSE-s játékosok alkották, akikhez a későbbiekben amatőr játékosok is csatlakoztak. A Budapesti Csapatbajnokság különböző - egyre magasabb - osztályainak bajnoki címének elnyerése után az országos bajnokságban való szereplésig jutottunk, már a régi első osztályos játékosokkal kiegészülve. Sikereink csúcspontját a 2004-es szezon OB első osztályának 3. helyezése jelentette. Tenisziskolánkban évente 25-30 gyermek oktatásával foglalkozunk. Korábban a korosztályos csapatbajnokságokon 4 csapatunk is szerepelt, ma azonban pályáink száma miatt sajnos csak a játék alapjainak elsajátítása lehet a cél, a versenyeztetés nem. I am a member of the US Racquet Stringers Association, and through their brochures I constantly inform myself about the newest features of the strings and the rackets. In order to broaden my experiences, I took part as a member of the stringers staff in the Roland Garros Championship 2005. I was an official stringer of the Technifibre team. During four days, I have been stringing the rackets of the best 16: the stars of the old and the new generation. It meant I had to string 15-16 rackets a day.
