Being on the third floor of an attractive and historic building with 2 lifts, the apartment has stunning views across the River Danube. The apartment building was one of Palatinus' palaces in the historic Jewish quarter, where old-time cafes and local restaurants bustle with local diners. The apartment is quiet and central, with original features including enormous double doors, high ceilings, a traditional ceramic stove for heating and a big, sunny window giving a panoramic river view. Close to public transport links, cafes and restaurants, Painter is a great place to stay and enjoy the real Budapest.

As keen cyclists, we are very pleased to be able to offer our bike tours tailored to your requirements. We can offer full or half day bike tours taking in local sights at a pace to suit you. Return can either be by bike or by boat. Tour destinations include Szentendre (a small romantic artist village with pretty cafes, galleries and churches), Visegrad (castle, panorama, a beautiful part of the Danube) and Esztergom on the Slovakian border. Prices 15-30 Euro per person for a half day, 22-44 euro per person for a full day, depending on number of cyclists.
