A táncegyüttes alapítója Catherine Gallagher 2000-ben érkezett Magyarországra. A 2000/2002-es időszakban az általa vezetett tánciskola legtehetségesebb, amúgy már professzionálisnak számító, táncosaiból válogatást rendezett.

A táncosok nagy lelkesedéssel fogadták azt a páratlan lehetőséget, hogy autentikus forrásból sajátítsák el az ír tánc azon titkait melyeket csak egy olyan művésztől lehet ellesni, mint amilyen Catherine Gallagher. Nem is akármilyen autentikus forrásból! Sokan hallhatták előzőleg a Gallagher nevet, hiszen Írország leghíresebb táncosai is ebből a családból származnak. A négy testvér közül a legidősebbik Michael Patrick Gallagher már 12 éves korában világbajnokságot nyert. Jelenleg a Riverdance amerikai csapatának vezetője, szólótáncosa immár 7 éve.A legkisebbik George Bernard Gallagher szintén a Riverdance táncosa, míg a család "fekete báránya" Barry Jhon Gallagher a Lord of the Dance táncosa. Catherine öt éves korában kezdett el táncolni és 14 éven keresztül az "Audh Rua" ír tánciskola tagja volt. Sikeresen vett részt a legnagyobb versenyeken. Több száz aranyéremet tudhat maga mögött. Versenyzői pályafutásának csúcsa Írország Nemzeti Bajnoka cím elnyerése volt.
